My current project is “The New Stadium” at Morfa in Swansea. The project value for the M&E design and build services, is £4.5 million to be completed in 8 months. Construction commenced May 04 to Dec 04. An extension of time was awarded to expedite the additional works value £1.25 million, Jan 05 to March 05, when the Stadium is handed over to the end user. The Stadium is of a high quality finish. The M&E services are an integral part of the Stadium, especially in concouse areas, where they are on show. The largest of the M&E systems is the Supply and Extract ductwork and Fire extract ductwork.
Christopher has been constantly involved from the onset of the project May 04. His extensive knowledge and experience has been proved invaluable throughout the duration of the project. Difficult on site co-ordination, taking a generic design and detailing site drawing’s, so that shop drawings and manufacture occur in a short period of time, for installation on a fast track project For the constant change as the Stadium requirements have increased.
Christopher has excellent leadership qualities; his team are always punctual, giving a full days work, to a high standard. The site installation team obey safety rules, especially PPE, Access equipment and house keeping. Christophers genuine entusiasm, percolates through to his workforce, making them efficient and productive.
Christopher also has good project management skills. NGB weekly progresss meeting with the Builder, by my request has attended by Christopher, his comments are always factual, he works very hard to maintain to programme target dates, and has the respect of the Main contractor and the Client.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Christopher and his team to any future employer.
